In 2013, Mark McCready was invited to join a group of pastors to contribute articles to the local newspaper.  This website grew out of his contributions to that effort.  He now also includes on this website other articles or editorials that he has felt compelled to write.

Since 2001, Mark has been serving in some form of rural Pastoral ministry. He began by doing some itinerant work while living in Colorado. Then, on completing his M.Div., he moved to Bancroft, Ontario where he served as full time Pastor of Bancroft Bible Chapel.  He subsequently moved to Alma, Ontario to take the position of Pastor of Alma Bible Church.

Mark originally trained in the area of Finance and Economics completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with an Economics Option at Wilfrid Laurier University (1994). Following his undergraduate work, he moved to Toronto and worked for W.F. Morneau & Associates  as a Consultant (1994-2000).  Sensing God calling him to Pastoral ministry, he and his wife relocated to Denver Colorado where he completed his Masters of Divinity at Denver Seminary (2004).

Mark was born and raised in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Southwestern Ontario.  He is happily married to his wife of 20+ years, and together they have two beautiful girls.
